A disastrous grape harvest in New Zealand is affecting wine prices. "The days of quality Marlborough sauvignon blanc being available for less than $10 a bottle are ending,' Fairfax NZ News reports. This year's sauvignon blanc harvest is down 19% compared to last year's, and total production of all varieties in Marlborough, the country's main wine region, is down 23%. [stuff.co.nz]
Slumping demand for sheepskin boots like the class Austrailian ugg has triggered a global collapse for sheepskin prices.
